I’m regularly subjected to medical needles of various shapes and sizes around 10 times a year. No biggie.
Regardless, there’s still that teensy bit of socially constructed anxiety around them, for at least a couple seconds.
That said, I just got my flu shot. If I drop dead in the next day or two, it’s probably best that somebody call someone.
I always seem to get the flu strain NOT covered by the vaccine. :/
I’m *really* torn about whether or not to get one this year. I got the flu last year and it about knocked me flat. I was really miserable. This year, I’ve already had a pretty bad cold/flu thingy, but I doubt it was the Big One. This one took it’s toll. Imagine what the Big One would do.

Be glad you can get a flu shot. They are non-existent down here, except for the high-risk population.

I got mine last Thursday. My arm finally stopped hurting yesterday. Blech!
