The service was good (although not spectacular), and the food was very good. Can't say that I'd recommend it, since there was nothing truly standout-ish, but of course that was one visit, and only one person's opinion. I wouldn't advise against it either - your mileage may vary. I seem to remember that my date (whom you know) quite enjoyed it. Perhaps ask her opinion as well for a balanced approach.
