Food, Glorious Food

  1. I ate deer once. It tasted like chicken. Heh.

Seriously, one thing I would NEVER eat, even if I were dying of starvation, is SNAILS. They are disgusting and slimy and just…yuck.

  2. Devon: definitely not British. Though I do have a recipe for fish/chips and mushy peas that I might try soon. And a “British for an afternoon” luncheon sounds fabulous šŸ™‚

Also j: A lot of people seem to think that a strong gouda smells like feet.

  3. dearheart: Sure. I’ll have a “be British for a day” luncheon. We can wear floppy hats and drink tea from my grandmother’s china.

  4. I agree, there’s a staggering dearth of cheeses on the list! (Although do you really consider Gouda a stinky cheese? It’s no Roquefort or Danish Blue!)

And of all the things on that list, I could never EVER eat guinea pig, so I’ll never get 50/50…

  5. You’ve never had a cornish pasty?!?!
Come over. I will make one for you.

Also: You’ve never had a cream tea? I will make that for you, too.

You must not be British. šŸ˜€
