I forgot how much a date can feel like an audition or a job interview.
And I was just not on my game tonight.
Mostly because I’m tired and cranky.
I did get flowers though, which makes me smile 🙂 And I don’t think he thought I suck entirely – so perhaps we can try this again another day.
In the meantime – I got the new Sophie Kinsella book today, and must go stay up way too late reading it.
Ahh, yes. I’m with you both. Mostly, I find the traditional dating (esp. with people that I meet online) just feels like an interview rather than a good time these days.
That said, though, I’ve had some great dates recently with guys I’ve met doing things I love!
You’re right. This may have something to do with why I don’t do the traditional “dating” thing all that much. *so* not my idea of a good evening.
