You have just won one million dollars:

1. Who do you call first?
Brian, Family

2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself?
A really extravagant dinner, and a very expensive bottle of scotch.

3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else?
I’d pay off my parents’ house, buy them, & my brothers, & my grandparents, &
Brian each a new car.

4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom?
I just bought you people cars! What more do you want?

5. Do you invest any? If so, how?
I’d probably dump a couple hundred grand or so into a nice, safe RRSP, and let it work for me.

So I had the strangest dream last night. I don’t usually dream very vividly, or remember what I dream, so it’s extremely strange that I woke up questioning if the events in the dream were real or false, and that I still remember the dream nearly 10 hours later.

In my dream, my very heterosexual brother was gay. This in and of itself is funny, because his twin is quite the little metrosexual, and we always tease him for being in the Gavy Navy. So my newly gay brother is dating some guy named Richard, who has very hairy legs, and a tattoo of a pair of lips on his left foot (it seems I never saw above Richard’s knees). They also live in a house that looks like it belongs on the set of a Tim Burton claymation movie - patched together with spare parts and very precarious looking. Local vandals have spraypainted the words “Homo” and “Queer Eye” on the exterior in purple. Obviously, the brother is very upset throughout most of the dream, except the moments where he’s able to sit quietly and caress Richard’s tattoo’d foot.

That’s about the gist of it.

I have no idea what sparked this dream. I watched Judging Amy before bed (which had no mention of anyone gay in the episide), and never consciously thought about my brothers at all yesterday. All I know is that I’m gonna be really creeped out if I hear of my brother having some new friend named Richard in the next little while.

What does it all mean? Any suggestions?

So, I’m feeling totally invisible lately.

Nobody calls, nobody emails, nobody comments on my blog. I haven’t even gotten that new worm virus email - that’s how invisible I am!

Thankfully, all is not lost. My mom knit me a lovely new scarf, and had my dad deliver it this morning on my way to work. Nothing says love like some warm mom-love wrapped around your neck during the morning commute :)

You know, it’s a whole lot easier to stick with a fitness plan when you’ve got a concrete goal to strive for.

In this case, it’s the Mexico Bikini Challenge. 124 days and counting.

The last thing I want to bring back from paradise is hundreds of pictures of my floppy belly and cellulite buns and thighs.

So if you were following the old Body-for-LIFE blog, it’s going again - this time with the Mexican vacation in mind.

Follow my progress here. And for all the HNG’s who may read this, leave lots of encouraging comments, and for each one, I’ll post a hot peechie bikini pic. when I return!

1. …song?
Polyphonic Spree - Light & Day

2. …food?
Rigatoni Gorgonzola

3. …tv show?

4. …scent?
The smell of freshly baking bread as I walk past a bakery cafe in the mornings on my way to work

YIPPEE!@#$!

My vacation plans for this year have officially been set in motion. Instead of basking in the dustbowl that is Merritt Mountainfest for a week in the summer, I’m going to MEXICO!@#$!@

I know. For some of you this isn’t a big deal. And the idea of spending a week in an all-inclusive resort is the epitome of blah. But it’s exciting for me. And that’s all that really matters.

I’ve never actually been on a *real* vacation. When you’re a full-time student, and your only chance to earn money is during the time when everyone else is taking vacations, it’s hard to justify both spending cash to go somewhere, as well as forefitting the opportunity to make some cash by taking time off work.

But this is finally it! I’m at a point in my life where I have paid vacation time, and I can afford to go somewhere - so it’s Bon Voyage Peechie!

If anyone has any recommendations about where to go and what to do, email me or leave a comment. I’ll be going at the end of May/beginning of June (since it’s my anniversary).

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Today was so busy. I would even go so far as to call it Frantic!

I couldn’t find time to finish going through my blogroll until I got home - and even then, just barely.

Now it’s time to fly off to my first Yoga class.

Unfortunately, I also have horrible gas today (that’s what I get for eating foliage for lunch)

Please send good thoughts my way so that I don’t Fart doing the Downward Facing Dog.

UPDATE: You all suck. Obviously not enough positive thoughts came my way, because I did fart - although thankfully it was odourless - but embarassing nonetheless.

Shamlessly stolen from Latheos, it’s the Belief-o-Matic.

Interesting results, since I was born and raised Roman Catholic. Also because I’ve been thinking about going to the Unitarian Church to see if I align with them a little better.

(And I promise to have this whole extended entry thing fixed soon-ish.)

I don’t know why I never manage to do these things on Fridays…

1. What does it say in the signature line of your emails?
Work: Name, Title, Company, Address, Phone, Website.
Home: “Work like you don’t need the money/Love like you’ve never been hurt/Dance like nobody’s watching”

2. Did you have a senior quote in your high school yearbook? What was it? If you haven’t graduated yet, what would you like your quote to be?
We didn’t have quotes, just comment boxes for thanks etc. I do believe though, that my personal email signature is a good set of words to live by.

3. If you had vanity plates on your car, what would they read? If you already have them, what do they say?
I’m not clever enough to think of something that hasn’t already been done and that’s still worth $100/year.

4. Have you received any gifts with messages engraved upon them? What did the inscription say?
I’ve received my fair share of monogrammed gifts, including jewelry. I received a necklace for my 21st birthday with the number “21″ on it. For my recent University graduation, I got a charm bracelet with a horseshoe charm on it that has my name (JEN) and a small diamond on the front, and “SFU ‘03″ on the back. I also have a locket that was bequeathed to me by my great grandmother. She received it for her 80th birthday and says “LOVE MANNY [my great grandfather] AND FAMILIES” on the back.

5. What would you like your epitaph to be?
I will be happy if it says I loved and was loved to the fullest capacity we have here on earth.

So… whaddya think?

I could use a graphic saying “movable peechie” to replace “My Glorious Words,” but other than that, I’m pleased.

Are you?
