*phew* I was really worried there for a moment, when my shaw modem suddenly died yesterday morning. I turn into a scary person when I have no internet. Thankfully I’m a smrt cookie, and managed to convince the support person (an errily nice and helpful one - he must be new) that it would be best if I just took the modem to the Shaw store and exchanged it. If he had made me wait a week for some idiot techie to come over, tell me it’s broken, and tell me to exchange it myself, I think I would’ve killed someone.

Awww…cut yourself some slack! Most people aren’t totally coherent when they’ve narrowly escaped losing their broadband.
Just thinking about having to use dial-up gives me the willies!

i know shaw isn’t probably the best company in terms of tech support. but there are a few glimmers in there.
