Pursuit of Excellence
I called in to check my grades the other day, and I was expecting my usual range of C+ to B, with probably a B+ thrown in for extra effort - an A if I’m really lucky.
So I’m listening to the recorded voice, when what to my wondering ears should appear, but an A-PLUS!!! Any of you who have attended university should know that getting an A+ is next to impossible - unless you eat, sleep, and breathe your subject matter (which will also cause you to burn out).
This is even more impressive, considering I took the maximum allowable credit hours - and hardly had time to eat, sleep, and breathe at all, nevermind study. It’s so nice to see that hard work really does pay off sometimes. There just couldn’t be a more perfect ending to this phase of my educational career (unless of course my student loans are mysteriously erased).
